‘Full disclosure: Mr.Tayo Olufosoye is family to me. Our friendship started in London, waay back when Kylie Minogue was on Neighbors and Prince William was 5 years old! Over the years I moved to the United States but heard from friends who live in England about how witty and funny Tayo is as MC, one in particular, knowing our relationship, asked me to introduce her to him, he had become a celebrity of sorts.
So when I started planning my wedding in August 2007 it was only natural to ask him to be the MC at my wedding which was at The Hall and Gardens at Landmark in Garner, NC, he didn’t skip a beat.
He showed up and showed out in front of our 500+ guests. As a polyglot, Tayo moved easily between my local Ondo dialect and the American southern drawl with the prowess of a natural born entertainer, full of wit, wisecracks and wonderment. He was all I could’ve asked for and more.He made my day.Would I recommend him? Definitely. Did he deliver beyond our expectations? Gbamsolutely!
